Horses have a positive & powerful influence for people to help overcome fears & build confidence through accomplishing tasks with the horses. Horses in this program help people to find solutions in dealing with challenging situations in their lives.
Horses play the most important role in Equine Psychotherapy; they do not judge or have any preconceived thoughts of why the people are there. Horses are in the here and now and are truly honest in emotion and the freedom to act naturally. They are intuitive and are experts in reading body-language and non-verbal signals.
Activities with horses have been beneficial in the working with: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Grief and Loss, Conduct Disorders, Attachment Disorder and other issues in people's lives.
